Are these not the cutest cinder blocks EVER! When I received this adorable cinder block mold in the mail from my friends over at Mini Materials, I knew exactly what I wanted to do first! Because I had yet to use it in any other project I decided to make these adorable never been done before 'Mini cinder block chocolates"! I was beyond excited to see the final product. These could be done in any color, flavor combination and garnished with just about anything! I can see these being the talk of the party. I can't wait to share with you my next cinder block project and no chocolate included this time! Did you guys know that Mini Materials is based in Orlando Florida and makes 90% of their products in house. Their customer service and products are wonderful! Please note this mold was not used with any other medium before being used with chocolate.
Begin by melting your chocolate as directed on packaging. Add food coloring until you achive your desired color. Place chocolate inside pipping bag or a sandwich bag and clip the corner. Pipe chocolate into mold very carefully tapping on the counter every so often to get the chocolate leved and bubbles out. Then place your mold in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes and carefully start pealing mold away from chocolate. Use your small pick to press down slightly in the center of the cinder block molds to help them release easier, then they will come out farely easy. Now drizzle some chocolate and add sprinkles and your done!
What's your favorite chocolate flavor and topping?! Product for this post graciously provided by Mini Materials.
