No Bones About It - DIY Skeleton Candy Favors

DIY Skeleton Party Favors Is it too early to start with Halloween ideas? "Trick or Treat"! No Bones about it, candy is the way to go! LOL I'd like to share this treat idea that I will be handing out at my daughters school this year using the wonderful candyfetti by Sweetsindeed! You can fill these test tubes with any kind of small candy. I filled mine up with the Halloween candyfetti blend. It's amazing! I wanted to also add a little hang tag to go along with these party favors so I made these adorable "Candy" tags with my Silhouette to share! You may remember my "BOO" treats from last year. They were a huge hit! I will be honest and say that I'm not a huge Halloween person. Yikes, I know. But I'm more into the cute Halloween decorations than the gruesome ones. Not sure why but even as a kid I would rather get dressed and hand out candy than to walk to each house for candy, cause it was scary! Anyone else or is that just me? These DIY Skeleton Candy Favors are not only cute but very simple to make. DIY Skeleton Party Favors DIY Skeleton Party Favors

Begin by opening your Designs #225321 & #13294 in Silhouette Studio located in your Library. Purchase and download your designs. Once you have done that open up your designs in your design window. You will want to measure your test tube to ensure that your skeletons are a little larger than your test tube so it looks as though the skeleton is holding it. You can make the candy tags any size you wish. Now you will want to adjust the size of your designs and send to your print and cut window. You will now want to load your card stock into your silhouette and select the proper cut settings. You will need to do this 3 times with all your different card stock colors. Once your designs have been cut you will begin to put your skeleton together. You will need to remove each piece of your white skeleton and glue them onto your black skeleton shape. This will take you a bit unless you want to use a spray adhesive. Now you can fill up your test tubes with the candy of your choice and attach the skeleton shape to it. I used some glue to attach the top hand to the test tube and then tied some twine around the center with a bow. You will then use a hole punch to attach the candy tag to your test tube.
