Pom Pom DIY Table Setting

Pom Pom DIY Table Setting

We are back with our final "Table Setting Collection"! Who else loves a duel purpose DIY?! Not only is it a napkin ring, but it serves as a place setting too. I wanted to use lots of color for this place setting as well as give it a fall feel since the holidays are coming soon. I think I managed to do that with this pom pom trim that I just had to have. The bold colors were great and exactly what I was looking for. No-one says fall can't be filled with bold colors right! Another idea I had was to make a denim table runner and use the pom pom trim on either the ends or along both sides length wise. How fun would that be! IMG_8493 IMG_8512

  • Pom Pom Trim - (Hobby Lobby)
  • Denim Fabric - (Joann's)
  • Galvanized Letter Tags - (Joann's)
  • Fabric Glue
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Hot glue
  • Mat and Rotary Fabric Cutter

Begin by laying out your denim fabric and measuring the width you would like your napkin ring to be. I measured mine at 2 inches wide by 12 inches long allowing me to center the pom pom trim. Once you have cut your denim you will want to measure and cut your pom pom trim to measure the same length. Next you will want to attach your pom pom trim to your denim with fabric glue and secure the ends together. You could always sew it in place as well. Once your fabric glue has dried you can add your galvanized letter tag with hot glue or you could stitch it with colorful thread in place since it does have the two small holes on each side to secure. I opted not to do that. Now you are all done and ready to show off your new colorful pom pom place setting!
